If you have the desire to eat the most fantastic submarine sandwich in history, get the steak and cheese from Viola's. I guess they make other types of subs, but you are a goddamn fool if you go with anything besides the steak and cheese or the Double.
One critical note: There are two Viola's Submarine Houses. One is on Military road, and the original one is on Elmwood (downtown). Go to the original one. They don't hire hot chicks like they do at the one in LaSalle, but it's worth it.

You can get there by going behind the city market on Pine, or you can turn onto Elmwood from Portage right next to the cemetary. It's in kind of a shitty neighborhood, so bring your 8 ball-in-a-sock with you.
